A Royal Morning in Madrid

This morning, I decided to get in line early (not too long) to visit Madrid’s Palacio Real.

Then, I popped into the Almudena Cathedral just next door. It is GORGEOUS!

So different from any of the other churches I’ve seen.

From there, I wandered toward Plaza Mayor.

And found Chocolateria San Gines – famous for their hot chocolate and churros (which, of course, I had to try).
